The Chick – our first red vintage produced from the farm’s maiden harvest of Shiraz, Mourvèdre and Grenache – is dedicated to the memory of John ‘Chick’ Legh; the founder of Rare Earth Retreats.

Blend: 57% Shiraz, 27% Mourvèdre and 16% Grenache

Appearance: Ruby red

Nose: Spicy nose of white pepper, all spice & nutmeg with dark red plums & cherries

Taste: Medium bodied with textured tannins, fresh acidity and an elegant finish
